What I study: I study streams and the bugs that call them home (aquatic ecology and entomology) Favorite place you have hiked: West Virginia & Oregon Favorite hobbies: Recently, I’ve found myself cooking a new dish, doodling and practicing yoga. Experience and skills that interested you in the GALS program: I worked as a tutor/mentor in the past. To watch students learn, grow and build confidence in themselves over time was an inspirational experience. I also hike and camp throughout areas of Virginia. Back in 2021, GALS seemed like the perfect way to intertwine these activities while hanging out with my cool roommate. So here I am, my second year with GALS! |
